I've used the tabs for the past 3 cycles and it works great for me....BUT! It's critical to take them EARLY. Let me explain.
For me (not necessarily the same for you), an attack starts with my nostril stuffing up. Then I feel a 'tightness' on my temple...almost like what you feel when you get a sunburn and the skin feels stretched. Next comes the first 'twinge'. The twinge is the absolute latest point when taking a tab will work (for me). And, being the capricious jerk he is, the Demon often gives me less than a minute from 'twinge' to 10. Best to take it before I feel that first twinge, but, since some attacks are just teases (pre-symptoms but no real attack), that sometimes means I waste a tab.
Over the years, I've learned to read my advance warnings fairly well. Taken early enough, a tab kills the beast in 10-15 minutes for me.
