first i want to tell you i met a girl at my recent class reunion who had CH in high school. one cycle. her symptoms were classic. i never knew, and i knew her well. she also has the classic intestinal fortitude renowned in our unfortunate community. and maybe most importantly for you being in remission ... they never (well, so far, and ... ummm ... it was not my 5th year reunion [it's been many years]) came back. there's always hope m'Lady - and if they do, you'll get thru them like you know you can.

and your life ... he wants you to give it up, he wants you to stay home, he wants you to abandon your interests ... if you were married to him, you wouldn't take that shit. so you're not married to him - he's in your head - but don't let him get his way just the same.

i actually think that getting yourself occupied with something is an anti pain device. as hard to do as it is in the face of the fear you'll get hit out there, force yourself. there's something in the mind, it seems to me a lot of times, that sort of makes the headaches less likely when it's "too busy" to have one. yesterday i had a crappy day that followed a crappy night and my aunt and uncle were coming to visit. i was not in the mood - wanted to call them and cancel. but they're visiting here for the first time ever and i won't see them again for a long time. didn't cancel. had about a 4 or 5 when they got here. sat down and talked to them for 10 minutes ... and i was coming down. within another 5 minutes i was a normal rege human being again. someone posted here a while ago something like "have a headache? go wash a car!" ... she got hammered cuz ppl didn't understand what she was saying. she went out and did what she wanted to/had to do in spite of her raging brain ... and the headache left.

don't let the bastard win ... if he comes back, we're bigger than he is ...
go live, Amanda.
