I am back again after about 15 month pain free. The last time I contributed (Mar 99) I documented the results of using the APS machine (Action Potential Simulation) see under my messages:

I was, at that time, only able to use a borrowed machine for about 8 days starting at about the fifth week of that episode with a resultant gradual decrease in pain intensity and frequency, till I was clear in just over two weeks from commencing treatment. I was not sure if it was the machine or just the normal end of an episode.
About four weeks ago the demon started knocking at my door so I went to my doctor and related my previous experience. He gave me a prescription for a machine and my medical aid paid 75% of the cost. I have been using it twice a day since then. The results:
I have all the other symptoms that accompany my CH attacks: bad Tinnitus (wringing in the ears), squishy-crackly neck etc. but the actual headaches have been, to say the least, very mild. In the over thirty years I have been having CH I have never had an episode like this. I haven't had more than 2hrs in a day and many free days. The headaches only 'pulse' : about three second 'ache' pulses with 3 to 20 seconds clear in-between. Comparing to previous episodes I'd say its about 0.1% of what it used to be.
