I agree that the letdown after stress, or periods of relaxation are "prime time" for CH. I am chronic, so I cannot address the cycles episodics have as being in sync to seasonal stressors, but even chronics have better times and worse times, and I see mine being at their worst during vacations, etc. My daily attacks peak in the evenings, and "old reliable" comes one hour after falling asleep, just as REM sleep tries to take me into dreamland. If I have a daytime attack, it is likely to be during a break in the action, or as I begin a particularly enjoyable activity.

Why do you suppose we call this thing "Devil" and "Demon"?
