Anitdepressants are used to treat CH because they are serotonin (5HT) agonists. 5HT, besides controlling mood, also controls vascular dialation/contraction. They aren't using it on you to treat depression, they are using it to treat vaso-dialation. That is if it were an anti-depressant. Miguel is correct, it's an anti-seizure drug.
