Many of us have tricks and techniques that we use to get through an attack when we're without our meds. I think I saw something like that a few days ago on the message board, maybe started by Annemarie? Anyway, it struck me that it might be helpful, especially for the new people, to have a list available. I know that most of the things I do were developed by trial and error (mostly error) over the course of the last decade. I have tried some incredibly dumb things, sleeping while sitting up on the sofa, throwing ice into a tub and taking a bath in it, enormous doses of sedatives to try and sleep through the night, mucho dumb things but they all sounded reasonable at the time. *S* Anyway, the suggestion is to have a place to store some of these things so either a newbie or an experienced sufferer could take a look and give some a try. There might even be a way to rank these things. I know that the thing that works BEST for me is to get cold, the more the merrier both inside and out. I drink HUGE quantities of ice water, take cold showers and stand in front of an air-conditioning vent, etc. How about the rest of you?

All the best.
