I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad night, but your suggestion regarding culture *does* make sense. Perhaps with culture we can take into account all the aspects of it, ie: environment, teachings, diet, genetics. (Hey BD, seems you come up with some great stuff after those "bad nights." Maybe you should write everything down the morning after :) ) Actually though, I was addressing the issue of control with regard to pain tolerance. I posed nationality in response to Jack's subject title "Another reminder of why I like Australians." The title made me feel as though he might not like someone who lacked pain tolerance. It looks as though as though I was misunderstood again. I just don't want to see us judge each other by our pain tolerance or lack thereof, that's all. But I like your culture theory. Shall we call you "Professor BD?" :)
