James, I to used O2 with my last bout 2yrs ago. This time (started about 3 weeeks ago) I decided to forgo it to see how it would affect the length,number and intensity. So far so good, only one to two a day, no rebound, and short duration. My doc gave me some imitrex nasal spray 20mg. I only have had to use it once or twice a day. It has worked well,usually within 10 min. if I get it right away. I did have some concern using the spray more than it was initially intended (1-2x aday) So my dr. gave me a script for 5mg. spray. Ihave not used it yet. I'm anxious to see if the lesser dose will work. I was using the 6mg shot last time also, Idon't know if that was a contributing factor in the rebound. I do have to say this round has been much more tolerable, the last was the worst Ihad ever had, maybe that's why they gave me a two yr. break. God Bless A Pain Free Night To You.
