My first concern is " i got hold of some oxygen..." Make sure it is pure, medical grade 02 in a proper container, good regulator and a proper fitting mask. I use 10 litre/min, usually stops mine in 5 to 10 minutes (not always, hey, life needs variety!!).
I have found that cold over the eye involved while breathing 02 seems to help resolve the attack quicker.
Sit back with the 02, relax (yea, right) breath deeply. There has been times it has not worked for me and I resort to meds. I have had the odd time it seems to get worse, the quickly gets better.
