how when you are in such utter states of agony at high levels of pain, you can't accept the hug or the hand that is extended to you. You can't accept someone looking at you or breathing near you. It's not a moral choice, it is your body's reflex. All your receptors are engaged in battle, there are no circuits left to feel: sweetness or joy or unfortunatly, Love.
But you know it comes back to you, you do eventually regain your composure. Maybe that is the miracle.
