Ok, I don't get it....

Everytime I try to post here, I have to split it up into sections. I just left a long post at Headachesupportgroups.com, and it took the whole thing first try. What is up with that? Not much of a 'puter tech guy here - so I don't understand the problem of why it will post on one board fine, but yet get cut-off on another.
Can anyone explain this technomalady to me?
