I know there's lots of talk about potential mobile phone radiation - however I don't think it's linked to clusters since I was getting clusters for more than 10 years berfore the phones even existed. Futhermore, I too use a GSM phone and my cluster pattern hasn't really changed all that much ( every 12 - 18 months I get a 6 to 10 week cluster).
