I'm a cafergot user. In the past I have used an Ercaf inhaler (just like an asthma thing-a-ma-jig) and I've also used a sub-lingual (under your tounge) pill called ergostat. Both worked a lot faster than pills and don't require needles. I'm not sure if they still make these things. I know at one time I couldn't get the inhaler anymore but it may be back now.
