Hi,I've used the imitrex in the vials but is only available directly from my Dr. as a sample. I live in Canada so it could be different where you are but thats how it works up here. I asked my Dr. about it once and he said it came down to the $$$$$$. As for the long term side effects I'm unsure Imitrex itself doesn't agree with me! Good Luck to you!
