my mom had a catscan with contrast and they found a neoplasm on the bottom of her lung only part of her lung was catscaned as they were looking in her abdominal area, a second catscan of her entire lung was ordered by a different doctor and no dye was taken as mom was taking glucopage, the results were negative. How good is a catscan without contrast and should we trust the second results?
