Indomethacin is a fairly potent anti-inflammatory.

Inderal (generic name propanolol) is a beta blocker. Despite the similarity of names they are two completely different classes of medication.

Beta blockers are far less effective than calcium channel blockers (such as verapamil) when it comes to clusters. Like you, Maryse, propanolol brought my cycle to a close within a week the first time I used it, and has never worked since.

I believe that the success rate is higher with migraines. Since I was originally diagnosed as having migraines, it is not surprising that my doc first tried propanolol.
