We went on it at the same time, it worked for me, but not for him. I didn't even stay on it as long as they told me to. As soon as I hadn't smoked for a day or two I stopped taking it. I just knew that if I could go a day with out it I was finished. That was 2 Christmas's ago, and I have not had one since. My husband turned into the BIGGEST nut case I'd ever seen, told him I'd rather face lung cancer with him than to deal with his VERY SCARY behavior. Called the doctor right away and he said it happens sometimes. So I flushed it, and he still smokes. He tries to quit every other day, but he doesn't REALLY want to quit. He wants to try that new inhaler next. Good luck. SusanH
