I posted the ice pack stuff another place, but for those who use ice packs during an attack - 4 cups of water 1 cup of alcohol. Put in a ziplock bag, then put that bag in another one (zipper on bottom) and freeze. It will stay mushy after it freezes. It works as good as those expensive ones with the gel in them and lasts about as long.

For heat - get a bowl of water and a few wash clothes. Wet the wash clothes and put them in microwave about 20-30 seconds. While you're breathing the steam from one have another one going. Don't know if the heat helps but keeping the microwave going gives you something to do while you're waiting for the headache to receed.

I use both (sometimes heat works and other times ice does).

Hope this helps. Hugs BD
