I have had the same experiance. I have had many meds help me for a couple months then offer very little if any help. One thing though is to try up to the highest dose allowed before giving up on a med. It would be a shame to quit getting relief just because you needed a 10% increase in the dosage. That is why I keep a calendar. It lets me know how long it relly helped and at what dosages. Sometimes I would think I had tried my meds at a higher dosage only to find out that I really hadn't. Also when you increase dosage you should do it by percent not volume. So when you are on a higher dose you may need 3 more pills to give you a 10% increase and if you just increase by the nuber of pills you can get a very low percent increase which may not be enough. When my meds seem to make me worse I have always assumed that my brain was fighting off the effects of the meds and overcompensating causing more cluster attacks. The Meds I'm on now have seemed to help me the longest so far. Aproximatly 3 years now. Sometimes a month or two "Holiday" from some meds would be enough to allow me to use it again with good results. Stay relentless in your battle Mike L
