Hi,
I have been taking a combination of verapamil and Topamax for chronic clusters for almost a year now, with very good results. I take 240mg verapamil (sustained release) and 200mg Topamax, both at bedtime. Another chronic sufferer with whom I correspond is also taking Topamax, but she is taking a higher dose; 300mg, I believe, also with excellent results without using verapamil.
Don't know anything about the Botox injections, although I have seen some posts here on that subject some months back.
Hope this helps - I would sure give the Topamax a try.
