varapamil e.r. is a calcium channel blocker used for come heart condition which I do not have. As my previous message indicated, I took 4 days of prednisone with it. I experienced no side effects except with prednisone, I could not sleep and got only a couple hours a night. Also it gave me a voracious appitite. I off the stuff now after 15 days of the varapamil. Only time will tell if this was just a normal end of the cycle or a cure. I have felt that a cluster is lurking back of my eye today, 5 days off the drug.
