Just exactly what I have found lately in looking into CH. The hypothalamus , the thyroid, the pituitary - all are connected in some way with hormones. You start messing with hormone levels in one and Boom-the other goes haywire. There IS a connection here , and this stuff ties in closely with Dr. Goadsby's research-But the question is "When is someone going to take this info further and FIND out the cause and cure!!!!"
