hi donna ...

i've been reading every post here since last october ... i'd say your HAs are the shortest i've heard of (most HAs last 15-30 mins ... some over an hour ... but very few only 1 or 2 minutes). the "'tweeners" you feel have the sound of what are called "shadow" HAs here ... a "hanger on" HA that lives between the pain peaks.

so it doesn't sound like "classical" CH ... but i'm not sure there is any such thing - our HAs are all over the map regarding timing and duration ... and they seem to occur WHEN we relax ... if yours occur after you get up from relaxing, that sounds a bit different, too.

that said - you may have an extreme version.

if this sounds like your HAs aren't CH, it's good news (even though you may think it'd be nice to know what you have - not knowing is better than knowing it's CH. trust me!)

pain freedom is a human right - whether CH pain or otherwise ...
