I was doing the same thing (sucking up the nasal spray-imitrex), My neck and jaw muscles became so sore I could'nt turn my head, not to mention the rebound of the CH. It also made me nausious. I went to the imitrex pill, instead of the nasal spray, and have had much better relief--except the pill takes longer to take effect. For me, the pill seems to last longer..Good luck.
