Like many of you, I take cafergot, (or Migril which is the same thing with anti-nausea meds added) and it almost always works. The question is: Does it become less effective for you over time? My CHs initially respond well to ergot but by the end of a cycle I'm taking 6-8 tablets per night divided into 4 doses. The side effects are ugly, tingling and numbness in the extremities and insomnia from the caffeine. (Not to mention gangrene if you keep it up)Are there any equivelents without the hellish side effects?

Thanks and all the best to each of you.

Testy.
