I'm very sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Don't feel singled out, though; most of us with CH have run across an ignorant doctor at some point in time. Ignorance is to be forgiven; we must just move on and find a doctor that has taken the time to learn about our condition, or else we must find one willing to take the time to learn. Then we can print out the information here on this web site and take it with us to the doctor and give it to them. It is frustrating, to be sure. We all look forward to the day when cluster headaches are better known and understood by the medical community.
In the mean time, there has been some good advice given to you under your post here. Go and get some welding oxygen if you can't get medical oxygen; just be sure and ask the company if it is prepared the same as the medical stuff; they will usually know. E-mail jonny about how to get set up with a regulator that will work for you; he knows all the tricks!
