Sorry- I got a bit pissed off there. But neurologits do not get paid to play head shrink. I've had this happen to me as well, and I CAN'T STAND IT!They start asking you in this very subdued tone of voice all of these psycho-therapeutic questions which have nothing to do with what they've been told. And then they want to prescribed dynamite or draw a quart of blood out of your arm (No doc the problem, is up here in my head!)
What's important hon is that whenever you go to see a doctor, you've got to remember that many of them don't know what this disease is or how to handle it. You've got to be armed with information
and you've got make them understand that you've got a disease, and if they're going to try and reason-around-the-rosie about it, to leave you alone and stop wasting your time and money when you could be getting real treatment somewhere else. Get the information from this site and print it up and take it with you. Post in the clinics on the bulletin board, make info-flyers (whicxch is what I'm about to do) and leave them in hospitals and clinics. Note CH.com and make people notice,make them learn, make them aware.
I've said before that there's an invisible majority out there with this disease. Theremust be, but we just haven't seen them yet. Only by making the facts publicly visible will we ever be able to build awareness about this condition.
I hope your headaches step down soon and I hope you find a REAL doctor somewhere soon.
