Well, but the LSD molecule is quite different,
yet apprarently as effective as psy. I wonder
if the activity, or lack thereof, comes from the
lower part of the molecule, the indole ring.
It seems that the LSD molecule would have a heck
of time binding to the "upper" part of the 5-HT2A
receptor, tus perhaps its partial agonist/antagonist status.
I wonder what happen fi the hydroxy group was bumped
on carbon further down on the benzene ring...
