Being a supporter myself, I know exactly how you feel. All you can do is be there when he needs you. My husband just recently finished a cycle - one of the worst he's ever had. Just as long as he knows you're there to get him what he needs, be it to massage his neck, get him something to drink, a hug whatever. You're helping him just by being there.
