Donna, about two years ago when my CHs went chronic I too had the same type of pain. Two years later, I'm still chronic, still get the more traditional CHs, and once or twice a week get the the 1 - 3 min. extreem pains. This can go on four hours ( for me at least). They come on , last a couple of min., go away for 10 - 15 min.,then start all over.
