When reading this please bear in mind that I am a chronic sufferer of around 4.5 years who has obtained fair relief from clusters with the use of 240mg Verapamil a day. I did go about three weeks without an attack when I first started using the Verapamil (about 1 year ago), but since then they have very gradually come back to the point that I was getting hit on a daily basis again (though still not as bad as before the Verapamil when I could get up to 7/8 a day!). Without medication I have NEVER has a single days remission. I continue to take 240mg Verapamil a day.
Last weeks clusters:
Mon: 3 attacks
Tue: 3 attacks
Wed: 2 attacks
Thu: 3 attacts
Fri: 5 attacks
Sat: No attacks (took shrooms at 4.00pm)
Sun: No attacks (now currently 5.00pm)
Therefore, 24 hours and not even a glimmer of a shadow.
I feel great! If I dont get hit with a cluster by Wednesday I may even try a beer.
I will keep you all informed of my progress.
