My experiance with preds was good until this yr. I've used it for the last ten yrs. I am episodic and usually did two pred burst per cycle. This year,the preds would work at higher doses and then as I tapered off, the CH would return. I was doing the pred burst from Mid April until Mid August. I could handle the weight gain but the feeling of pending rage was not good. I will be looking for a different combination in the future. With that said, I agree with others that Prednisone can be effective for allot of people but like Geo and others have stated ... watch out.
(I though it gave me multiple personality dis-order but we're fine now. ha ha)
