When we read things like " moderate exercise decreases the risk of mycardial infarction in males 50 and above by ....", or "reducing serum cholesterol by 25% results in a reduced risk of a cardiovascular event ( how's that for a euphimism )by 20%....." someone is quoting results of the Framingham Heart Study which has been going on for a long time now.

I have no other intimate knowledge of the study other than when I drive to Boston on business and pass through Framingham :-)

I know there are folks out there dying to study us - we just haven't found them yet. I have always thought that the TRUE value of OUCH was that it could serve as a ready to go database of sufferers that we could hand over to someone for study.
