Randy, I have it made. I work free lance, on my own time. But that means 24 hours a day if the going gets rough and when I miss out due to CH I'll have to make it up somehow, for that deadline certainly won't move.

Working for a boss is nearly the same, in the end.

What your colleagues fear (and who can blame them?) is that not only will you opt out when you have an attack, but that you will also not try to make up for lost time and that they will be saddled with your work as well, while you are being paid for it. Makes for bad feelings, and bosses don't like that any better than colleagues do.

If you are very clear to both co- workers and bosses, that you'll finish your work anywhichway, and you won't let others suffer, you stand a more than fair chance of being accepted in your job.
