After yesterdays bad attack, today has been relatively uneventful. From getting up at 7.30am until about 2.30pm I was shadowing on and off (Kip 1). However, none of these shadows developed into a headache. At the moment (6.00pm) my head feels normal. Therefore, in my opinion the shrooms are still helping, though it is still early days yet.
Here is a summary so far:
Four and a half years chronic, very good initial results (around four months) with a daily low dose of Verapamil, but clusters gradually getting worse over the last six months.
Monday 11th: 3 HEADACHES (between kip 4-8)
Tuesday 12th: 3 HEADACHES (between kip 4-8)
Wednesday 13th: 2 HEADACHES (between kip 6-8)
Thursday 14th: 3 HEADACHES (between kip 4-8)
Friday 15th: 5 HEADACHES (between kip 3-8)
Saturday 16th (shroom treatment day-4.00pm): NO HEADACHES
Sunday 17th: NO HEADACHES
Monday 18th: 1 HEADACHE (kip 4-lasting less than 5 mins)
Tuesday 19th: 1 HEADACHE (kip 9 for 75 mins-took further 2 hrs to subside)
Wednesday 20th: NO HEADACHES (but shadowing on/off first half of the day)
Intending to do the treatment again at a slightly higher dose this Saturday, unless I am completely cluster/shadow free until then.
Sorry for posting nearly everyday about my progress, and subsequently taking up space on the board. However, I do get the impression that people wish to know how I am going on with this line of treatment.
