Researchers monitoring Net support groups
LAWRENCE, Kan. - Beware researchers lurking in, and
posing as members of, online support groups. In some cases,
researchers may be posting messages simply to observe the reactions of group participants.
Online research ethics and the lack of any meaningful guidelines was a hot topic at the inaugural meeting of the Association of Internet Researchers this week.
