Never tried OTCs but the stuff I take for my seizures would knock you flat if you suddenly took them. I used to laugh when hospitals tried to feed me a sleeping pill. I used to be so full of the stuff that a Secanol was a joke. I doubt the things would put you out through an attack as my stuff didn't keep me down. Damn! this is a nasty disease!
