I think some times we can cause strain's to certain muscles in the neck and shoulder area that
can effect the same nerve that effects our ch. These nerves and muscles after being strained should take about 2-3 days to subside. Some times going to a Chiropractor and getting a treatment might help in case its a pinched nerve in the neck area.
