Hi Oprah,
I have been contiplating writting you for a long time but never got up the nerve to do so,
but my reason for writting you today is my grandmother, She is one of the strongest, loving,giving,dedicated,spritual,and
I could go on and on describing how wonderful she is, because she is truly a blessing to me and all of those around us.
When I was coming up she raised me and my cousins, she is a mother of 17 kids who she pretty much raised alone because my grandfather
died when the kids were very young.
I have seen my Grandmother take in homeless people and feed them when we didn't have much to give, she would go and feed the
elderly 3 meals a day when they had no family to take care of them. But now I feel it's her time to be acknowlegded for the
Angel that she is, due to diabetes she has lost a leg and a foot and she has also lost her eye sight, She has not once complained
about this happening to her or questioned God. She just says God does everything for a reason and this has happened to her
for a reason and that's all I ever heard her say. Hopefully you feel my compassion and understand were I'm coming from
and know the she is a true blessing, And I don't know what my world would be like if she wasn't in it.
