I own a two year old male rottweiler and he has got to be the smartest dog I know. What happened to you Bob just sounds like something typical of the rottweiler additude. They are dominating dogs you know, aren't you glad he chose to do it gently. But in all honesty, I could say that I would trust my kid around a rottie before I would trust it around a poodle. They are very gentle dogs if you raise them right. Remember, a dog can only be as smart as it's owner. But guns are definately never the solution. If anybody sot my baby(my dog) I think I would be killin them.
