perhaps you are referring to generic Cafergot, which is 1/3 - 1/2 price of the Sandoz patent label
your ?? about the caffeine is puzzling, because the caffiene IS one of the active ingredients to directly reduce the headache, it isn't there just for a "lift" by any means
there used to be a sublingual ergatomine tartrate pill I tried a couple times - it was supposed to be faster than the swallowed tablet
shouldn't be a problem to get the info though - just get into the PDR at your library & look up ergatomine - it will give you all the compounds, mfrs, etc
