I wonder this morning where I'll be in 200 years! Dead like everybody else RIGHT! OK, now read on.
Last week while strolling thru a Clear Cut logging operation I found Moses and Elizabeth Pasily Gibson. There residence in atop a gentle rolling hill that faces directly west towards the setting sun.
They have a hug White Oak tree that shades them and of the 100 or so acres that was cut, they have about 1 acre of trees left. In a perfact square. What is so important about Moses and Elizabeth Gibson that this DOLT has to take up our time with you ask? I'll tell you! they have lived in the same place for 237 years. What i found was a grave maker! Its marble slab ecased in concrete with a brass plaque attached. Moses Gibson Born Febuary 9, 1763, Died July 23, 1846 and his loveing wife of some
20 plus years the script is very worn, Elizabeth Pasily Gibson Born June 25, 1785, Died December 8, 1837. They once lived there Elizabeth was a (D. A. R.) Daughter of the American Revolution. No fancy stone walls, no other sign of thier life's is left but this memorail. I found it profoundly striking that what was lost for so many years has now enlightened me. May God let them remain in peace cause we can only dream of the hard ships they battled.
