No matter what drugs you've taken, if you're still
in a cluster episode, and stop the drugs, you'll
still have the headaches. You typically have to
keep taking the preventive drugs, like Verapamil,
the entire length of the episode. Of course you only
take Imitrex (is this the same as Imigran?) injections
when you get a headache. Have you had cluster
episodes before? If so, how long do they last?
This will help you to know how long you may have
to be on the drugs.
