they don't check my oxygen level... in fact.. i don't
understand why they would... It's the HIGH levels of oxygen
which BREAK these clusters ... usually within 10 to 20 minutes
at high levels. Certainly a low level of 2 liters per minute...which
is often the amount given to people with lower levels of oxygen isn't
going to break an attack. IT is, however, the high setting of 6 to 10 liters
per minute ... for 10 to 20 minutes ... that gets the cluster to break.
Sounds like maybe the oxygen people NEED to understand the science behind it.
You doctor should step in. My place is great. Also.. i keep the tank
year round now. I just tell them i have attacks from time to time and i need
the tank when i need it. They were fine about it. Good luck. And get on that PHONE
and get some cooperation. They aren't understanding the high dosage thing. If your body
required constant levels at 10 liters per minute.. you'd have oxygen toxidity.. or be
dead. keep at it! good luck.
