For me anyway.

I also have clockwork attacks when I am in an episode (in remission now). Every two hours on the hour. The odd hours to be precise.

So that can't have anything to do with stress.
Further more I noted that very stressfull times tend to chase away the light shadows that I have several times a day for weeks on end. They don;t hurt, they are just inconvenient.
But as soon as I am getting really stressed out... no shadows!

Another thing, I gather that you haven't started oxygen yet. For many people here it has been a life saver. You really should try it. It doesn't hurt, it isn't addictive, it is just a bit heavy to lug around but they have light bottles that fit into a backpack.

To know more about oxy, try www.clusterheadachesupportgroups.com and go to medical tips.

Walk in beauty, annemarie
