For example, isn't the entire process certified in a medical grade operation, like gas sepration equipment and intermediate storage tanks? It would seem in appropriate for something to be certified medical grade and fit for human consumption if the entire process was not "clean". On the other hand, I seem to recall that the riskiest part of the whole operation is in the initial filtering and anywhere that oil can be introduced. You really don't want to be breating oil. As a work-around the humidifier that we should all be using as part of the rig may also filter some contaminants that could be introduced.
