I agree that Prenisone is awful, and I regret very much that I took the damn stuff--several times. There were times when I would have drunk hemlock if I thought it would help. Some of us, however, are not so well informed as to tell a neurologist to take a flying leap when he/she prescribes prednisone, even though we can read the side effects on the pharmacy print out. Hmmm. A bullet through the noggin probably has a detrimental effect on one's health also. :-)
