i have it hangin around too ,, this shadow or "twinge" is what has us living in fear. it;s just around the corner. you must explain to you boss and freinds and family about clusters. it is a pretty rare thing. i told my boss i have cluster headace syndrome.this may make it sound like a little more like a plain old headace. thank god my boss understands and is alowing me the time to run around to all these doctors.he knows i'm not the type to run to the doctor,, but when he sees ME running ,,there really must be something wrong!!you could try switching to night shift. i am a night person any way, but i work days, i too feel less headaches at work,, the when i get home and sit down and start to relax,, BAM !! ive read that RELAXATION could be a trigger,, this may explain less pain at work, and pain at night. i have not yet tried oxegen,, i waiting for my insurance to review my case,, in the mean time,,i have tried vicodin i found some left from a dentist trip once and it seemed to at least kill the shadow for a while,, this in turn may have calmed the fear for a while so i could relax(if thats good),,dont take too much and ask your doctor,, not prescribing this to anyone,, just saying it kinda worked for me ,, for now. i think we somehow build immunities to all these drugs,, and then try another and another, so it seems like nothing works. also it only helped me calm the shadow, i took it when i didnt have an attack. nothing works fast enough during one anyway. if you are trying different meds,, start with small amounts do decrease the tolerance level.and dont mess yourself up with too many things,, we want to kill this thing but not ourselves in the process !!,,,i feel for you ,, i have to nap after work quite often.. to make up for sleep,, then i'm up late,, then get woken up BEFORE my alarm goes off,, at work sometimes i feels like ive been up for days!!on weekends i sleep all day,, what a screwed up thing we are all goin through, good luck with your boss,, and your job,,wanted to share a little wiih you, dont give up !!!!!! bye
