I also have a very dear friend of mine who is suffering from "cluster headaches" he has recently been admitted into the hospital and after one weeks time of being there the doctors have put him on every medicine think-able including 500ml of steroids to try and break up the pattern. As of now, he is home and trying to deal with this the best way that he can. It took his doctors a good twenty min. to write out all of his perscriptions and the only one that seems to be working for him is litium. If any one has any ideas on how I can try to help my friend with this pain please let me know. I personally don't understand what the pain feels like but for my friend his neurologist has told him that most likely these headaches will kill him, I also do not know how often these attacks come on for the rest of the people but for him in the month of September he had 63 different attacks and in the one weeks time that he was in the hospital he had a total of 27.My friend will from now on be labeled as disabled by his doctor(s) for the reset of his life, so he/we could use any advise that you may have. PLEASE HELP ME HELP HIM!!!
