Can anyone tell me a little about this medication. I was diagnosed with PTSD, Bi-Polar II and Depression..mixed with a little anxiety. I am taking Prozac and have just started taking Topomax for the PTSD and Bi polar II. I am concerned about the side effects. I have only taken it for one day, and of course have not experienced anything yet, but I am concerned about the warning of driving while taking this medication, etc. As I work and drive an average of 50 miles a day. Not to mention that I really cannot afford to lose anymore concentration. Do these symptoms subside? How soon before they begin? It may be mental but as I am a big Fountain Mountain Dew freak, it did taste kind of funny this morning, is this my imagination? Can my taste buds be effected already????
